Hi everyone

My name is Celeste and I'm not new in PS but I'm new to the Polish forum I'm sorry I'm writing this in English, I don't speak much Polish yet.

I'm moving to Europe in a few months and Poland is my preferred destination. However, I'm not sure what the situation for poker players is over there. I am aware that online poker has been illegal in Poland for a long time but it is not enforced. However, I read something about the government banning IPs from July 1st but the information is confusing and not speaking Polish makes it worse. Do you think things will change from now on? I highly appreaciate ANY help because I don't know who else to ask about this.

Hi Celeste.

I wish we knew that. In simple words, situation of poker in Poland is not regulated for many years. Current goverment stated to implement full regulation at the 1st of July. They blocked some sites so far, but e. g. PartyPoker stated that they will stay in Poland after this regulation. Our government is so unpowerful that I believe more PartyPoker, but it is just my opinion.

Answer for your question is to stay patient until this date.

They're not speculations because minor players like 888 or iPoker banned playing poker or betting from Polish territory. We're wondering what Stars and PP will do on 1st July but so far they didn't tell to do anything so we hope they'll stay
